Mattie Bohanan – Media Relations

As Media Relations, Mattie Bohanan uses social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to keep members and non-members informed on events, scholarships, and mentors! Mattie is currently a flight instructor at Auburn University, where she will graduate in December with a major in professional flight and a minor in marketing. In addition to her CFI, she holds a multi-commercial certificate, instrument rating, and a tailwheel endorsement. 

During her time as a student, Mattie has become involved with the Women in Aviation War Eagle Chapter and the Striped Wings Student Ambassadors. She also works at the Auburn University Aviation Center as a social media and marketing specialist. She enjoys getting to share her passion for aviation through these outlets, and she looks forward to a fulfilling career in the aviation industry!
