How We Started
Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is a group of aviation professionals, including flight department personnel, FBO managers, writers, students, training center professional and many others.
From our first meeting at the Women in Aviation Conference back in 1993, our core of committed members has grown the organization to what it is today, with thousands of members across the globe. WCA has networked, promoted career opportunities in business aviation, and have long supported educational initiatives for business aviation professionals. In 2015, we started our mentorship program, which pairs those are just starting out in their careers with a mentor who can be their resource and guide. We have also provided more than 100 scholarship opportunities to students who are trying to break into the industry.
For the past 25+ years, WCA has established itself as one of the most prominent and long-standing organizations supporting women in aviation today. We are dedicated to our mission and will continue to encourage growth and contribute to the development of tomorrow’s business aviation leaders.
